About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining physical inventory levels, coordinating with buyers, and completing ERP inventory transactions to support production. The Production Control Coordinator will also be responsible for ordering, bagging, and tagging hardware and materials for jobs, transacting and storing work-in-process components, and serializing and logging pre-braze components. Additionally, this role will lead inventory reconciliation activities, support shipping and receiving coordination, manage logistics for product movement with the Master Scheduler, develop daily progress reports, and work with department managers to address production issues. The coordinator will also review work orders to ensure all manufacturing processes are complete.

Requirements

  • Associate degree, or formal technical training.
  • ERP System (E2 experience is a plus but not required).
  • Background in Inventory Control in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to change direction with minimal notice.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of physical inventory levels, coordinated with Buyer.
  • Complete all required ERP inventory transactions to support production.
  • Order pick, bag and tag all hardware and other materials to jobs per Job Requirements report to develop the “Hardware Kit”.
  • Transact, store and maintain pre-braze work in process components in preparation for kitting of brazements.
  • Serialize and Log pre-braze components to be forwarded to Braze Department for final processing.
  • Lead inventory reconciliation activities such as cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Support the coordination of Shipping and Receiving activity.
  • Work closely with the Master Scheduler to manage logistics for product movement throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Develop daily progress status reports to Operations Manager.
  • Work with department managers to address production issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
  • Review work orders to ensure that all manufacturing processes are complete.
