About The Position

The Production Control Coordinator interfaces with the Production Control Managers to ensure updated information and on-time delivery is given to CSR. This individual also prepares and ensures that daily reports and documentation are properly completed.

Requirements

Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
Working knowledge and use of Excel and Access Reports
Understand basic arithmetic in reference to software programs and reports
Ability to visually verify fine detail work
Ability to understand and follow directions regarding production control
Ability to learn and complete Oracle software
Able to handle situations involving sensitive issues with professionalism and tact
Capable of quickly accessing a situation and relaying production scheduling information to CSR

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards preferred.

Responsibilities

Enter, update, and maintain production and job information in the company’s manufacturing systems.
Monitor job status throughout the manufacturing process and identify jobs that are delayed, waiting, or require follow-up.
Assist Production Control with maintaining daily and weekly production schedules.
Track jobs against required completion and ship dates and communicate potential delays to the appropriate personnel.
Follow up with Production departments on the status of work in process.
Assist with prioritizing jobs based on customer requirements, due dates, and production needs.
Review and maintain job paperwork, travelers, work orders, and other production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate information between Production Control, Customer Service, CAM, Purchasing, Production, and Shipping.
Update job priorities and status changes in the appropriate systems.
Prepare and distribute production status reports, schedules, and other routine reports.
Maintain accurate records of completed, delayed, held, and pending jobs.
Assist with expediting jobs when required to support customer ship dates.
Communicate changes in priorities and schedules to affected departments.
Help maintain organized production control files and documentation.
Assist with resolving routine production scheduling and administrative issues.
Perform data entry and other administrative duties as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
