About The Position

The Production Control/Aviation Maintenance Supervisor (Army Rotary Wing) is responsible for the supervision of organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft. This role manages all aspects of aircraft maintenance, ensuring all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner. The supervisor oversees maintenance staff, including reviewing performance, addressing personnel issues, generating assignments, and setting priorities. Responsibilities include performing scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, servicing, launch and recovery, corrosion control, inspections, and routine to complex maintenance of aircraft, sub-systems, and components. The role also involves performing engineering work orders for modifications and upgrades, interpreting maintenance manuals and specifications, and repairing or replacing electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories. Additionally, the supervisor provides guidance on technical orders, checklists, and hazardous materials, maintains equipment maintenance schedules, monitors parts and supply inventories, and offers technical guidance to Engineering staff. Training on company equipment according to OSHA regulations and monitoring annual training requirements are also key duties. The role may involve supervising aircraft/equipment movement, conducting foreign object damage prevention walks, and meeting with customers and senior leadership.

Requirements

High School Education or equivalent.
Ten (10) years of aviation maintenance experience.
Three (3) years of US Army aviation maintenance experience.
Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
Two (2) years of Army aviation maintenance supervisory experience.
Ability to plan and schedule maintenance work requirements.
Ability to direct skilled technicians in the daily performance of their duties.
Working knowledge of OSHA and company requirements.
Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance, NAC-I T1 Public Trust.
US Citizenship is required to obtain a T1/CAC NACI Clearance.

Advanced knowledge of aircraft common and special tools and test equipment, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications and schematic diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications, aircraft engine, landing gear, and flight control systems.
Previous experience with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint-Required.

Responsibilities

Supervise organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft.
Manage all aspects of aircraft maintenance, ensuring safe and efficient scheduling and execution.
Supervise maintenance staff, including performance reviews, issue resolution, assignments, and priority setting.
Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, servicing, launch and recovery, corrosion control, and inspections.
Perform routine thorough complex maintenance of aircraft, aircraft sub-systems, and components.
Perform engineering work orders regarding modifications and/or upgrades to various aircraft systems.
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications for repairs or replacements.
Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.
Provide guidance and instruction to team members on technical orders, checklists, and hazardous materials.
Maintain equipment maintenance schedules on all company assets.
Monitor parts and supply inventories, ensuring availability and reordering.
Offer technical guidance to Engineering staff regarding new equipment start-up and maintenance programs.
Provide employees with proper training on company equipment as required by OSHA Regulations and monitor annual training requirements.
Supervise and assist in aircraft/equipment movement.
Conduct flight line and hangar foreign object damage prevention walks and housekeeping.
Meet with Customers and Company Senior Leadership as required.
Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
