About The Position

dormakaba is seeking a Production Control Assistant based in Chino, California. The position supports the coordination and expediting of work and materials within or between departments in a manufacturing environment. It interacts frequently with Production, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Shipping, Customer Service, and Engineering. The hiring salary range is $20.00–$28.00 per hour; the salary will be determined based on the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market alignment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

College credits or a degree, preferably in business or supply chain management.
Familiarity with production planning processes.
Previous ERP experience.
Experience in supply chain planning.

Responsibilities

Collect data and generate reports on labor utilization and efficiency.
Compile work order packages, including creating required labels.
Pull work orders for production schedules for assigned work centers and product lines, prioritizing and expediting them.
Support Production Planners in preparing production cell schedules.
Verify part shortages on work orders.
