About The Position

GeoLogics is seeking a Production Configuration Management Analyst for a top Aerospace and Defense client in York, PA. This is a 1-year contract role with the possibility of extension, operating on a 9/80 schedule, and is a temp-to-hire position. The role requires a 4-Year Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience. The rate is up to $37.51 per hour on a non-benefitted W2 contract. US Citizenship is required. As a Production Configuration Management Analyst, you will be the lead role for processing Manufacturing Change Notices (MCN's) and providing direction for their implementation. You will review and analyze Technical Drawing Packages (TDP) and change documents, comparing them to the current Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM). Your responsibilities will include identifying impacts to MBOM configuration, routings, assembly setup, effectivity, material flow to the assembly floor, and Work Instructions. You will collaborate with other manufacturing functions to gather information on the current MBOM configuration, arrange and conduct meetings to plan change implementation, and provide technical input and guidance for problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 4-Year Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • Experience with reading drawings for multiple programs (TDP).
  • Knowledge of Bill Of Materials (BOM).
  • Knowledge/Experience with Enterprise Product Data Management System (EPDM).
  • Experience using OBIEE to export file used to highlight changes to MBOM.
  • Knowledge/Experience with Oracle, Item Master, Drawing File, Bills of Materials, Routings.
  • Knowledge/Experience with excel systems required.
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and written.
  • Have an understanding of processes to build and make products such as sub-assembly, installation, machining, welding, paint, marking, etc.
  • Have an understanding of how to process non-conforming parts for re-work or upgrade by an outside service provider (OSP).

Responsibilities

  • Lead role for processing Manufacturing Change Notices (MCN's) and provide direction for implementation plan.
  • Review and analyze Technical Drawing Package (TDP) along with change documents and compare to current Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM).
  • Identify impact to MBOM configuration, routings, assembly setup, effectivity, material flow to the assembly floor and Work Instructions.
  • Work with other manufacturing functions to gather information related to current configuration of the (MBOM).
  • Arrange and conduct natural team meetings to determine plan to implement changes and follow on task.
  • Provide technical input and guidance for problem solving.
