Sets up and operates conventional, special purpose, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. This role requires the ability to study blueprints, measure and mark dimensions, select and align tools, calculate machining factors, and monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality. The position also involves fitting and assembling parts, verifying dimensions, installing replacement parts, and collaborating with engineers and production personnel to resolve issues and improve processes. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and adhering to ISO 14001 systems.
