About The Position
Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Production Clerk opportunity at our TapeCase facility located in Elk Grove Village, IL. The Production Clerk assembles job packets, enters data into computer systems, verifies and closes jobs and facilitates communication between production departments.
Requirements
- No prior experience required
- 1 year of experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Basic computer skills: MS Office Suite, email, Windows, ERP systems, Label/Barcode Generating Software, Database Software, Internet
- Ability to observe and make recommendations for improvements
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities
- Allocates material to jobs, verifies worksheets’ accuracy, and closes out job tickets
- Composes packaging jobs and releases them to the production floor
- Follows up on orders to ensure on-time delivery
- Arranges job packets to compile the End of Day Report
- Coordinates blend jobs with Resin Lab schedulers and production leads
- Collaborates with the Inventory Department to ensure allocation of materials and product lots
- Backs up Production Schedulers and other Production Clerks
