Requirements

  • 1-3 years manufacturing or planning experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform employee crewing of the Production and Packaging lines 24 hours in advance
  • Correspond with Temporary Employment onsite Manager regarding scheduling of temporary employees.
  • Prior to the end of the employee’s shift Post the crewing sheets in the designated locations
  • Before the start of a production, check the Employee call line for any report offs
  • Make adjustments to the schedule to accommodate for any shortages
  • Communicate the new crewing requirements to the Supervisors and Line Leads
  • Maintain attendance records, vacations, floaters, and personal days.
  • Discuss scheduling problems with planning & scheduling dept., supervisors, and leaders.
  • Enter/Transfer “Hold” product into ERP system.
  • Enter Production, discards and usage variances into ERP system
  • Enter Product lot information into Access data base
  • Organize and scan Production and HACCP/OCP documentation
  • Maintain records for supervisors, to help them do their daily production reports: Downtime entry, efficiency report and nonstandard return program
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Train new employees as required.
  • Maintain home department in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Comply with all safety policies, report safety violations, and attend safety meetings.
  • Report problems regarding food safety to supervisor or manager.
  • Perform other related work duties as requested by supervisor.
