About The Position
This is a contract-to-hire position where you will be hired based on attendance, performance, and client needs. You will have the opportunity to work either the 1st or 2nd shift, with rotating 3 and 5-day work weeks. A competitive hourly rate of $17.50/hr. plus a shift premium for nights is offered. Upon permanent hire, an amazing benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with employer match, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Paid vacation will be available.
Requirements
- Previous production or general labor experience
- Proficient in reading, writing, basic math, and conducting visual inspections
- Excellent attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for entire shift and lift up to 55 pounds
Responsibilities
- Monitor equipment within assigned work area for any signs of malfunction or adverse conditions and promptly report issues to supervision.
- Conduct visual inspections of parts to identify and report defects.
- Load product onto production lines as required.
- Remove excess flash from molded parts to meet quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with applicable OSHA Safety Standards.
- Participate in training sessions and seminars as needed to stay current with new technologies and techniques relevant to job performance.
