About The Position

This role is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production and is responsible for maintaining production packaging material inventory. Requirements

  • Willingness to work in a refrigerated, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, move, and lift items throughout your shift.
  • A team player with good communication and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a cold, wet, and fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work flexible hours (this is a 24-hour plant).
  • Able to do basic math.
  • Works well alone and with a team.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, scanners, and company systems).
  • Able to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Willing to learn about production, quality, and safety goals.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Always follow safety rules, wear proper PPE, and work safely around equipment.
  • Keep your work area clean and organized using the 5S system.
  • Follow food safety procedures (GMP, HACCP, sanitation, etc.).
  • Move raw materials and products to the right areas — accuracy is important!
  • Restock ingredients and supplies to keep the line running.
  • Help package products according to instructions.
  • Follow daily production schedules.
  • Look for any defects or issues with size, color, or packaging.
  • Report any problems to the quality team.
  • Use a handheld RF scanner to track inventory and products.
  • Perform simple inventory checks and updates.
  • Learn to follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory process.
  • Be flexible and willing to learn different tasks and positions.
  • Help the team improve efficiency and reduce waste.
