About The Position

This position at JBS USA is for a Production Clerk Yard Scaler on either the 2nd or 3rd shift. The 2nd shift hours are 2 PM to 9 PM, and the 3rd shift hours are 9 PM to 5:30 AM. The role involves serving as the Supervisor's right-hand person, processing incoming cattle paperwork, running the scale in the barn, and completing cattle tickets. The Production Clerk will also set up the Harvest line up, communicate this to personnel, and organize truckers, pins, and scale tickets. Collaboration with the accounting team is essential, including handling inquiries on the bleed rail check and balance system. This role is responsible for maintaining live cattle and barn inventories, performing data entry, and ensuring cattle are placed in the correct lots. Additionally, the position requires maintaining good working relationships with Union, USDA, and Maintenance employees.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Supervisor’s right-hand person
