Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Character of exceptional reliability, dependability, and integrity.
Basic math skills (add, subtract, simple calculations).
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks.
Ability to work Day shift (8:00 AM-4:30 PM), Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
Frequent use of arms, hands and fingers for essential duties.
Ability to operate a motorized floor scrubber and buffer.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (regularly) and up to 50 pounds (occasionally).
Ability to work in an environment with ongoing background noise.

Responsibilities

Play a key role in keeping all working areas in the production departments in a clean and orderly condition.
Follow procedures and quickly report any unsafe conditions.
Bring a strong sense of quality and attention to detail, ensuring SARSTEDT standards are consistently met.
Stage boxes, material and supplies neatly and organized.
Follow the cleaning plan with precision including floors, hallways and other work areas.
Reliably transport trash and waste to assigned disposal areas.
Replenish bathroom supplies as needed.
Contribute to process improvement ideas for keeping production areas clean.
