About The Position

Assist production supervisors in various daily activities, ranging from but not limited to promoting labor efficiency, championing quality and sanitary objectives while supporting training needs as required. This role is performed in a food manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including use of required PPE. Employees may work in areas with variable temperatures, machinery noise, and exposure to food ingredients and sanitation chemicals. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and regularly lifting up to 25–35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance). Requirements

  • Employees must be able to do everything in class V, IV and III.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • High School or equivalent (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP) preferred.
  • Basic Mechanical Experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Ability to do CIP (Connect setup as required)
  • Require to work more closely with our procedures as required by our Quality Manual. For CIP proposes
  • Assist Class 1 in any function required of that position.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper machine functioning, some troubleshooting and cleaning of the machines.
  • Effective communication with supervisors, employees, quality assurance and maintenance
  • Follows proper operating procedures.
  • Report mechanical issues to supervisors immediately.
  • Work well and have good communication with all other co-workers.
  • Identifies, corrects and communicates product defects.
  • General clean up, wash and sanitize.
  • Responsible for complying to all Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies/procedures and requirements.
  • Follow GMP’s, sanitation procedures, and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors.
  • Responsible for any other activity as directed by supervisor.
