Requirements

• Ability to interpret, sort paper work, and engineering drawings correctly.

• Ability to compare and accurately determine difference in size, shape, and form of objects.
• Ability to apply shop mathematics to solve problems.
• Ability to correctly and safety use hand tools (both manual and pneumatic).
• Ability to read a tape measure in metric and imperial standards.
• Ability to read effectively from a paper copy.
• Ability to work within precise limits and/or standards of accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to follow and understand directions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Previous shake experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to interpret, sort paper work, and engineering drawings correctly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in press brake operation.
• Assuming additional duties as assigned.
• Assisting in set-up of brake.
• Assisting brake operator with the forming operation.
• Placing correct labels on parts and sorting to correct JIT kit.
• Assisting in inspection of parts.
• Safely and effectively use tools such as hand tools, measuring tape, and machine equipment.
