About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a US based remote Production Bioinformatics Engineer to join our team! The Production Bioinformatics Engineer role is a founding member opportunity for a team purpose-built to scale clinical production bioinformatics across the Labcorp enterprise and an expert in building production bioinformatics systems, developing tools to visualize clinical lab & genomic data, and automating complex laboratory workflows. You will engineer software tools that improve the usability, scalability, and reliability of bioinformatics systems by converting production bottlenecks into lasting solutions through rigorous software, automation, and infrastructure. This role is especially well suited for someone who thrives at the intersection of bioinformatics, software engineering, and production support, and who wants to shape a team from the ground up. You will partner closely with bioinformatics R&D, clinical lab analysts, and a dedicated data analytics team to troubleshoot issues, improve data quality, and build durable, site-agnostic solutions for clinical workflows. As a founding member, you will have direct influence over how we build and how we work.
