This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems on equipment where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious. The role involves operating material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment. Additionally, the technician will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, banana room equipment, cranes, robotics, and electronic and electrical equipment. The position requires reading and understanding blueprints, procedures, diagrams, schematics, and sketches to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Team leadership and participation are key, involving sharing resources, information, and tools, identifying customer needs and business priorities, coordinating work, providing feedback, and adapting to change. The role also involves developing, communicating, and implementing processes to meet business needs through collaboration, analysis, and monitoring results.
