About The Position

Worthington Steel is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to build a long-term career in manufacturing. No prior manufacturing experience is necessary; a strong work ethic, commitment to attendance, and willingness to learn are key. The role involves operating steel processing equipment, handling materials, packaging, and inspecting products while adhering to safety and quality standards. Training begins on 1st shift for 2-6 weeks, followed by a permanent transition to either 2nd or 3rd shift.

Requirements

• Ability to work 2nd and/or 3rd shift following the training period
• Demonstrated reliability and commitment to consistent attendance
• Ability to perform physical, repetitive work and lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic math skills

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or mechanical experience
• Experience operating industrial equipment or machinery

Responsibilities

• Operate steel processing equipment
• Load, unload, and move steel materials
• Package and inspect finished products
• Follow safety procedures and maintain quality standards

Benefits

• Starting Pay: $20.00/hour
• $1.50/hour 2nd Shift Premium
• $0.75/hour 3rd Shift Premium
