About The Position
Pall Corporation, a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, is seeking a Production Associate for its 2nd shift operations in Cortland, NY. This role is responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. The Production Associate will work under the direction of supervisors or more experienced personnel with minimal supervision, maintaining accurate records and collecting data for engineering. This is an on-site role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent
- 1+ years of production/manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum, 8 hours.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate all equipment in a related area to produce complicated components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions.
- Work under the direction of supervisors, or more experienced personnel, with little supervision.
- Maintain accurate records, and logs and collect any necessary data for use by Engineering.
