About The Position

The Production Associate performs production assignments according to safety specifications, instructions, and requirements. The role is responsible for maintaining production standards, safety, quality, and housekeeping in the assigned work area. The associate reports production waste and notifies a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line to help maintain safety and quality standards. The role also follows company policies and procedures and performs other duties as required by a Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and report issues.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to be on feet for up to 8–12 hours per shift.
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job functions.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements.
• Meet production standards for specific assignments within the required time.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in the assigned space.
• Report all production waste to the Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain safety and quality throughout production.
• Notify a Production Lead or Supervisor when stepping off the line so safety and quality standards are maintained.
• Perform other duties as required by a Supervisor or Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
