About The Position
Cone Drive Operations, a Timken company, is hiring production associates in Traverse City, Michigan. This role involves working in assembly and machining operations to produce gear products for various customers and industries. Production associates start at $25.45/hr and will be cross-trained on both assembly and machining processes. Opportunities for advancement to various shifts are available after training, with shift premiums for evening and midnight shifts. Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to work any shift
- Hands-on mechanical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform basic math (algebra & geometry), read prints and use gaging devices
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Eligible to access US export controlled technical data and hardware (US Citizen, Green Card holder, Asylee, or other eligible for US export license authorizations)
