About The Position

Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. This role involves performing routine tasks in Product Assembly, including bonding, potting, mixing epoxy, and installing covers and other plastic/metal components. The associate will read blueprints, diagrams, or established operations practices to assemble and install various probe components, and may perform solder touch-up or solder of parts as a secondary operation. Handling small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy is essential for preparation for assembly. The role requires following method sheets to ensure documented and controlled processes are followed for assembling various electronic components. A variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations will be performed using common hand tools such as wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers, as well as small hand tools and soldering equipment. The associate may also operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly/production equipment. The position requires the ability to work independently, be organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ability to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods is necessary.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time and complete tasks using a microscope.
  • The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills.
  • Capability to use a computer and enter accurate data.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform precise, hands-on tasks with accuracy and control.
  • Highly organized, self-managed individual who works independently and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope preferred.
  • Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
  • Good hand eye coordination with usage of a microscope.
