This role is essential to the manufacturing process, ensuring every screen meets high-quality standards before it reaches customers. The company has over 75 years of experience and is the largest independent manufacturer of window and patio door screens in North America. Requirements

  • Must be 18+
  • High school diploma/equivalent required for Assembler; preferred for Packer and Screener.
  • 2+ years related experience for Assembler.
  • 2+ years manufacturing experience for Packer (window/door industry a plus).
  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required for Screener (window/door and lean experience a plus).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly (50 lbs with assistance) for Assembler.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted for Packer.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for Screener.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred for Packer.
  • Lean experience a plus for Screener.

Responsibilities

  • Constructs metal screen frames using hand tools and pneumatic equipment (e.g., staking machines) to customer specs.
  • Inspects completed products, monitors production quality, maintains material flow between stages, and keeps tools/workstations in order.
  • Preps, packages, and quality-checks finished window/patio door screens for shipment — builds boxes, labels/marks products, sequences and counts finished screens, removes defective items, and transports packages via pallet jack to staging.
  • Installs screen mesh into pre-assembled frames using hand tools and assembles finished products to quality standards.
  • Inspects products throughout the process, follows safety/5S practices, and cross-trains across production areas.
