About The Position

The Production Associate is responsible for inspecting, packaging, and palletizing products according to Truvant and customer specifications. This role involves operating and troubleshooting production equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are met.

Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including Truvant policies, customer-specific policies, GMPs, regulatory (USDA), food safety, and food defense.
Must be able to read documents, printouts, and computer screens.
Must be able to reach, touch, and grasp.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull, and push.
Must be able to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents on the production floor.
Must be able to work in various environments based on building location and products.
Lifting and positioning weight loads up to 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

1 year's manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Setup and shutdown of all equipment in the production room.
Reporting sanitation issues to the supervisor and QC.
Verifying USDA requirements (if applicable).
Starting up equipment and verifying correct product and materials.
Maintaining cleanliness of work areas, including floors, machines, and belts.
Solving machine issues.
Communicating daily with the supervisor about any problems encountered during the shift.
Ensuring rework is completed and online at the end of the day's production run.
Cross-training new Production Associates on machines.
Performing other duties as assigned.
