About The Position

River Valley Holdings is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Associate to support daily production, packaging, and material-handling activities. This role emphasizes ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a food production environment. The position involves working with food ingredients, including major allergens, and requires strict adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable, organized, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Basic math, computer, and measurement abilities.
Consistent attendance and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or packaging preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

Follow all company SOPs, GMPs, HACCP, and OSHA safety standards.
Operate production and packaging equipment, scales, forklifts, and hand jacks (training provided).
Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
Inspect containers, labels, and date codes for accuracy and consistency.
Set up, adjust, and clean equipment according to SOPs and food safety guidelines.
Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready work areas.
Report equipment, process, or quality issues to the supervisor or lead.
Support training, sanitation, and continuous improvement efforts.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
