In this role, Production Associates will work in a production environment, handling packaging and salt materials, and operating equipment to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals set by the Plant Manager.

Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
Must be able to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses & hard hat.
Must be able to speak and read basic English.
Must be able to attend work regularly, as attendance is a requirement of the position.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures in production environment.

Nice To Haves

Production or manufacturing experience.
Experience operating equipment.

Responsibilities

Handles and lifts, and moves empty and full salt bags and packages.
Operates baggers and sealers according to established procedures.
Ensure product is bagged, sealed and palletized according to specifications.
Aid and assist the line leader.
Ensure only product that meets specifications is passed to the next process step.
Work safely and responsibly and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Perform work according to accepted procedures and practices.
Keep accurate records of production data.
Communicate all concerns affecting safety, quality, productivity and the work environment to the Line Leader.
