About The Position

Quanex Custom Components, a manufacturer of cabinet doors, is seeking a Production Associate to join its manufacturing team in Greenville, Pennsylvania. The role involves a variety of cabinet-door manufacturing tasks, which may include sanding, operating woodworking machinery, and packaging. The employee receives direction from a supervisor or team lead and may assist in other work areas as workload permits or requires. The schedule is four days per week, Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., with overtime as required. The stated hourly rate is $20.40, including a $17.00 base rate and a 20% shift premium; experience will be considered.

Requirements

Manual and finger dexterity skills.
Ability to perform repetitive work.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills preferred.
Manufacturing experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of cabinet-door manufacturing tasks, potentially including sanding, using woodworking machinery, and packaging.
Notify the supervisor or team lead when more work is needed.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area in compliance with 5S standards.
Follow safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
Identify existing or potential safety issues.
Contribute effectively in a team environment.
Assist in other work areas when workload permits or requires.
