About The Position

This role involves manufacturing, assembling, and packaging Steel Ceilings products to fulfill customer orders. Additional duties include material handling, crating, and assisting with machine operations. Requirements

Prior manufacturing, assembly, material movement, or machine operator experience preferred.
Knowledge of metal manufacturing materials, fabrication processes, and machinery preferred.
Ability to learn how to operate a forklift and other company vehicles.
Must be able to lift and move up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Manufacture, assemble, and package Steel Ceilings products.
Perform material handling, crating, and machine helper duties.
Maintain a clean and safe working area, including sweeping and emptying trash.
Observe all safety precautions and plant regulations.
Operate machinery such as turrets, brakes, presses, panel benders, and tube benders upon training and qualification.
Perform final panel assembly and infill pad creation.
Operate forklifts and assist with inventory counting.
Assemble materials and package finished products for transport.
Ensure adherence to quality, output, and safety standards.
Keep accurate records of production, waste, and quality checks.
Properly maintain equipment.
Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products.

Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
Conform to all company policies and procedures.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, including daily sweeping and trash removal.
