About The Position

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate for their 2nd shift operations. This role involves operating various CNC controlled machines in a fast-paced production setting, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. The associate will also utilize scanning equipment, perform visual inspections for defects, and contribute to cost-saving suggestions. This position requires a willingness to work overtime, learn new tasks, and maintain a team-player attitude with safety as the top priority. Training may initially occur on the Day Shift.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have basic Microsoft knowledge
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a related area is preferred
Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment preferred, not required

Responsibilities

Operate various CNC controlled machines, such as presses, lasers, rolling mills in a fast-paced production setting, with an emphasis on safety and quality
Utilize scanning equipment
Inspect work visually for defects according to quality standards
Serve as a positive role model consistent with Cornerstone Building Brands Mission, Vision and Core Values
Provide cost saving suggestions and ideas to improve production and eliminate waste
Must be willing/able to work overtime
Must be able to read a tape measure, write, and follow posted schedules
Willing to learn and take on additional tasks as assigned
