About The Position

The Production Associate is responsible for operating a production line, while ensuring adherence to company standards for safety, clean environment, quality, and productivity in order to meet customer requirements. This role involves pulling product, performing production tasks, and conducting quality inspections on all production work orders. The associate will also be responsible for accurately recording batch and cure dates, reading work orders to identify special requirements and packaging instructions, and ensuring line performance regarding output and uptime. Maintaining high-quality products by inspecting raw materials and finished goods for defects is crucial. The role also includes picking and putting away product or material using a forklift/cherry picker, digitally documenting process and quality data, and ensuring appropriate product labeling. The Production Associate operates and monitors production equipment, ensures compliance with Quality Policies, and initiates measures for deviations. Cleaning and maintaining machines, returning extra material to its original location, and adhering to all safety and 5S standards are also key responsibilities. The associate will adhere to all ISO standards and participate in audits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree.
  • High level of commitment and flexibility.
  • Willingness and ability to work shifts.
  • Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment.
  • Ability to identify, pull, splice, and vulcanize appropriate materials per the work order.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a semi-regular basis.
  • Basic-Level English language skills preferred to read instructions and safety manuals.
  • Basic computer skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining machines and equipment; returning any extra material to its original location.
  • Maintaining all safety and 5S standards.
  • Adhering to all ISO standards and participating in audits.
