Production Associate
About The Position

Headquartered in Elgin, IL, Impact has grown into a premier manufacturer of Container and Compactor Parts helping our customers to ‘repair and not replace’ assets, reducing the environmental impact of new containers and compactors. Other companies that reside under the IEG umbrella consist of Midland Chutes, Northern Extrusion, Deroche, Tarp Depot LLC, Container Components and more. We are currently seeking someone who will be our Quality champion in the last step of our production process. The role will fold and label industrial tarps for the shipping department. This is a first shift opportunity, the hours will be 7a-4p.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to use small hand tools, routinely lift 65lbs, bend and kneel throughout the day.
- Basic math
Responsibilities
- Keeping an accurate record of tarps completed for tracking/production/inventory purposes
- Ensuring tarps match diagrams before folding
- Ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the security of the assets in their charge.
