About The Position

Dempsey Uniform is hiring Production Associates for our expanding Sunbury, PA plant! We’re looking for dedicated Full-Time Production Workers to join our team immediately. Enjoy stable employment with a growing, family-owned company. If you’re interested in first-shift work, we offer full-time positions from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $15.90 per hour.

Requirements

Demonstrates a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
Takes pride in their work and maintains high standards.
Has a stable work history, with good attendance and punctuality.
Often has experience in fast-paced environments, such as production, manufacturing, assembly, picking, catching, shipping, packing, warehouse, restaurant, or retail roles.
Can meet the physical requirements of the position, including moderate lifting, repetitive motions (gripping and grasping), and standing for up to 8 hours per day.
Works as a team player with honesty and integrity.
Upholds company values in all tasks and interactions.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment which have included production, manufacturing, assembly, picking, catching, shipping, packing, warehouse, restaurant or retail positions.

Responsibilities

Feed large items, such as tablecloths, sheets, and towels, onto feeder belts for ironing and folding.
Feed smaller linens, including napkins, aprons, and pillowcases, onto feeder belts for ironing and folding.
Collect and stack folded linen items as they exit the folding machine or ironer and load folded items onto transport racks for distribution.
Sort incoming soiled items, including napkins, tablecloths, bed sheets, and towels, preparing them for cleaning.
Meet production standards efficiently and accurately.
Perform all tasks safely, following OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
Report any unsafe conditions or practices to management immediately.
Assist with other duties as assigned to support overall production operations.
