Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or demonstrated reliable work record with the ability to read and write proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Sort apparel by size, color, type, and logo.
• Prepare and inspect orders before and after decoration.
• Clean, correct, and trim threads to improve the quality and appearance of garments.
• Support all areas of production.
• Inspect garments for quality issues before and after decoration.
• Verify item-counts and check against work orders.
• Place garments neatly in boxes or appropriate staging area.
• Become proficient and trained in other aspects of production to support all departments.
• Utilize personal protective equipment as required for personal safety.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment.
• Perform job consistently within established performance standards.
• Be punctual, observe prescribed work break/meal periods, and maintain an acceptable overall attendance record.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, grasp, push, and pull.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to differentiate between colors.
• Must be able to identify deviations from design or order specifications.
• Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move as much as 75 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
