About The Position

We are currently seeking a Production Associate to join our manufacturing team in Mint Hill. This position exists to assist in the production of commercial roller shades. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
Previous experience operating fabric cutting machines or similar equipment preferred.
Ability to read measurements and interpret technical specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle fabric rolls safely.
Ability to lift over 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

Technical training is a plus.
Previous experience operating fabric cutting machines or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate automatic and manual fabric cutting machines according to production schedules.
Operate metal saw machines according to production schedules.
Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and specifications to ensure accurate cuts.
Perform machine setup, calibration, and adjustments for different fabric types and sizes.
Inspect metal tubes and/or fabric for defects before and after cutting; report any quality issues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cutting area.
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during machine operation.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues; escalate major problems to leadership.
Record production data and maintain accurate logs of materials used and output.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
