About The Position
Richardson Contract Furniture, a manufacturer of Office and Institutional furniture, is currently seeking Production Associates to play a key role in the manufacturing process by supporting assembly, sanding/finishing preparation, and packing of products. This position helps ensure that all products meet quality standards and are completed safely, efficiently, and on time to meet customer expectations.
Requirements
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or assembly is a plus(not required)
Responsibilities
- Assemble wood and laminate components according to specifications and work instructions
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safety and effectively
- Ensure accuracy and qualify of assembled products
- Sand wood surfaces to prepare for finishing
- Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure a smooth, consistent finish
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sanding area
- Package finished products to ensure safe transport
- Label, wrap, and prepare items for shipment
- Assist with staging orders for pickup and delivery
