About The Position
Broken Coast Cannabis is looking for a Production Associate to work in the Production department of our busy cannabis production facility.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow documented procedures
- Ability to follow direction and carry out tasks independently
- Ability to perform repetitive & labor-intensive work
- Great attention to detail & ability to work cleanly and methodically.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks
- Close visual focus required
- This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects, and involves bending and reaching
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Responsible to preserve and safeguard all confidential information that comes to their knowledge in the course of employment.
- Responsible to observe and comply with the policies of the Company and applicable legal requirements with respect to confidential information and the protection of privacy.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or similar facility an asset, though on the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Hand trim product to internal standards
- Ensure product is cured and packaging product for shipment
- Maintain product quality standards during curing process
- Complete room set up, take down, change-over, and product distribution processes
- Complete required training, including any required quality assurance and health and safety training
- Report any equipment or facility system deficiencies
- Adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including but not limited to sanitation, cultivation, and processing
- Responsible for accurately completing appropriate documentation and records
- Responsible for promptly reporting any deviations from SOPs
- Responsible for adhering to safe work procedures and reporting hazards
- Complete relevant forms, logs, and other documentation to meet the requirements of SOPs and Company Policies
- Participate in company training on policies, procedures, and work methods
- Assist other departments as needed
- Perform other duties as may be required by management
