About The Position

Westminster Cracker Company, a food manufacturer in Rutland, Vermont, is seeking Production Associates for their packaging lines. This entry-level position offers training, with an initial 90-day focus on learning one station before cross-training across the line. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is supported by a Production Team Leader. No prior manufacturing experience is required; the company seeks reliable individuals committed to safety and quality.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and standard work, and to ask before deviating
• Reliable attendance and availability for the assigned shift, including overtime and weekends when production requires
• Ability to stand for the full shift, do repetitive hand work, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Willingness to speak up when something isn't safe or doesn't look right

Nice To Haves

• Prior production, packaging, warehouse, or food service experience
• Experience in a GMP or food manufacturing environment
• Spanish, French, or Pashto in addition to English

Responsibilities

• Pack crackers into cartons, cases, and bulk containers at rated line speed
• Assemble and weigh cartons, check counts and seals, and keep product moving
• Watch for off-spec product and stop or flag it right away
• Follow GMP, food safety, and safety rules on every shift — hairnet, hand washing, no bypassing guards
• Keep your station clean and stocked, and help with line changeovers
• Record basic production and quality checks accurately
