About The Position
International Paper is seeking a Production Associate for their Fond du Lac Container Facility. This is a full-time hourly position primarily focused on operating and maintaining large machinery in a safe and efficient manner. The role involves reading factory orders, utilizing basic shop math for measurements, performing quality inspections, and maintaining a clean work environment. Candidates must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift, with initial training on 1st shift. Overtime and Saturday work may be required.
Requirements
- Must be available on all three shifts if needed to cover overtime hours
- Ability to practice great factory housekeeping
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Running and maintaining large machines in a safe manner
- Reading factory orders
- Utilize basic shop math such as accurately reading tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment
- Consistent quality and count inspection of a product
- Ability to practice great factory housekeeping
- Ability to work overtime as needed
