About The Position

The goal of the Production Associate is to optimize employee and equipment effectiveness and efficiency, and to reduce waste and meet company objectives. Works under direct guidance of Team Lead. The preceding functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this position. Requirements

Proficient in palletizing on all production lines.
Proficient in Packing, Pouching/Filling on all production lines.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to carry out position responsibilities.
Ability to follow policies/procedures.
Ability to prioritize workload/tasks.
Ability to manage information flow (paperwork, etc.).

Responsibilities

Understands and complies with company food safety program and regulatory requirements to ensure the safe production of food.
Complies with company safety/environmental program and regulatory requirements.

Participates in preventing errors occurring in production.
Maintaining a clean, organized and audit ready work station at all times.
Ensures that production and food safety documents are accurate and completed.
Completes timely changeovers between production runs.
