About The Position

This position is for a Production Associate in a plant that operates 24/5 with 8-12 hour shifts. The role requires the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed, especially during busy periods. The associate will be responsible for safely operating machines, adhering to all safety rules, counting and stacking finished products, understanding customer requirements through work orders and specifications, using basic shop math, accurately reading measurement tools, coordinating with machine crew members for efficient setup and operation, maintaining quality and production standards, monitoring production quantity and quality, maintaining housekeeping, performing quality inspections and tests, and undertaking other assigned duties.

Requirements

3-6 months hands on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
The ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler
The ability to use basic shop math
The ability to learn
The ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team

Nice To Haves

Corrugated industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices at all times
Count and stack finished product
Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications
Utilize basic shop math
Accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment
Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders
Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company
Continually monitor the quality and quantity of production
Maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift
Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
