About The Position
The Production Associate, End Capper performs tasks related to the Consumables Department safely and efficiently. The role offers a leadership opportunity and is based on-site in DeLand, Florida. It involves setting up and operating equipment to produce components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions; working under supervisors or experienced personnel with little supervision; and maintaining accurate records and logs while collecting data for Engineering. The listed shift is Wednesday–Sunday, 7 a.m.–7 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least two years of production or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating corrugating or pleating equipment.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, or schematics.
- Experience using scorecards or other process-tracking tools.
