About The Position

CATC is looking to do whatever it takes to make much of Jesus, not holding on to old models and methods for tradition’s sake but rather constantly evaluating how to do things most creatively and effectively to reach people for the Gospel. This part-time Production Associate position will help spread the gospel throughout Central Florida with the ministry of CATC. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the areas of audio, video, lighting, stage, setup and tear down, and more. This is a great opportunity to serve in a fast-paced, growing ministry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of related experience in live audio or broadcast audio
  • Heart for service to the Lord
  • Desire to empower people to serve
  • Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision
  • Embrace change and can adapt quickly with a “whatever it takes” attitude
  • Able to figure it out, follow through, and get it done
  • Strong ability to relate to all staff with compassion, humility, and confidence
  • Requires technical skills, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify and meet strict time constraints for specific tasks
  • A teachable and an enthusiastic learner.
  • Maintains flexible working hours as determined by the needs of the ministry.
  • Attends regular church and team staff meetings as required.
  • Maintain an organized personal workspace and environment in our venues
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner through our task management system

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with software such as ProPresenter, ProTools, and Planning Center
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Dante, Crestron, Stream Deck
  • Familiarity with equipment such as audio consoles, lighting consoles, and video cameras, switchers, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all elements of worship services, special events, and other scheduled activity are executed with the highest standard
  • Setup, patch, tear-down, etc. audio and video equipment as required to meet the needs of the service, event or program
  • Campus-wide support, to include all venues and portable systems
  • Help recruit and train volunteers to operate all equipment in all venues
  • Participate in training opportunities and constantly finding new ways to improve skills
  • Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve issues during Sunday experiences or other live events
  • Work within Production Team on stage design and execution of design
  • Operate ladders, lifts, tools, and other equipment in a safe manner.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of operation and integration of all equipment.
  • Begin and end projects within reasonable timeframes and communicate needs.
  • Works with proficiency with current technology and communication tools.
  • Aligned with organizational vision, goals, values, and policies.
  • Works well with others and within a team environment.
