About The Position

Duro-Last Roofing, a brand of Amrize Building Envelope, is seeking a Production Associate to help manufacture custom-fabricated commercial roofing solutions. The position is intended for candidates eager to learn and grow within the company. The associate learns entry-level production tasks, including operating production equipment and following manufacturing procedures, while producing quality products and completing required paperwork. Employees must follow safety protocols and properly use approved personal protective equipment, including respirators when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative to get the job done.
• Must pass a pre-hire drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Ability to bend, push, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work shifts of up to 12 hours and weekends when necessary.
• Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

• Previous manufacturing experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Make high-quality products free of defects to meet customers’ needs and expectations.
• Learn basic production tasks, including operating production equipment and following manufacturing procedures.
• Accurately complete all required production paperwork.
• Attend and participate in scheduled company, plant, production, and safety meetings.
• Keep the work area clean and neat, free of safety hazards, and presentable for guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safety protocols and properly use approved personal protective equipment, including respirators when required.
