About The Position

Hartung Glass is seeking Production Associates to join their team. In this role, you will assist with the manufacturing of glass across various departments. Responsibilities include reading tags to ensure correct product manufacturing, inspecting glass for defects and proper sizing, loading/unloading glass from machines, operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, organizing products for delivery, racking/crating products for shipping, and loading/unloading delivery trucks. Requirements

Individuals with glass/window experience, warehouse, shipping and distribution are highly encouraged to apply.

Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th of an inch (or willingness to learn)
Pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen (excluding marijuana).
Able to lift between 50-75 lbs. (some areas may require less)
Able to work overtime

Responsibilities

Reading tags to ensure products are being manufactured correctly.
Inspecting glass at all stages of the production process to check for manufacturing defects, damage, and proper sizing.
Loading/unloading glass from various machines.
Operating equipment and machines such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Organizing the final product on racks based on delivery routes.
Racking/crating the final product, ensuring that the product is safe and secure for shipping.
Loading/unloading delivery trucks.
