Requirements

  • 1 year experience in a warehouse environment
  • Forklift Experience
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Willing and able to work weekends as needed
  • Able to complete a pre-employment basic math skills test
  • Able to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Able to write and understand English

Nice To Haves

  • Hammer knives wrench pliers machines for cutting and the like (Grinder, Plasma Cutter, Pneumatic pusher)

Responsibilities

  • Inspect work for defects and measure pieces to determine the accuracy of the machine operation, using rules, templates or other measuring instruments
  • Read drawings or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions
  • Use drills, grinders, Plasma cutting tool and holding devices using templates, measuring instruments and hand tools
  • Ensure work area is clean and safety standards are followed
  • Read work orders for materials needed (chain and parts)
  • Assemble and package work orders as specified
  • Ensure lengths, quantities and spacing is correct per order
  • Maintain a clean working environment free of debris and hazards
  • Understand and implement the company’s quality policy to ensure quality objectives are met
  • Must be able to work with automated machinery and the ability to troubleshoot
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools properly to ensure safety
