About The Position

We provide full-service contract manufacturing, bottling, and packaging solutions for gummy natural health products, supporting clients from concept through launch. Operating within a regulated manufacturing environment, we are committed to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. The Production Associate plays an important role within the production team, supporting manufacturing operations and ensuring product quality standards are met. This role involves operating production equipment, monitoring manufacturing conditions, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and supporting quality and inventory processes within a fast-paced food and natural health product manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or GED required.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and food production operating standards.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read instructions and recipes.
  • English reading and writing proficiency required.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period on a hard surface.
  • Reach, kneel, or crouch.
  • Lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs. repetitively.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work shift work in a 24/7 production environment.
  • Be present in manufacturing environment which can be noisy, hot, cold and require PPE.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in food manufacturing, nutraceuticals, or gummy production considered a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate single-function and multi-function machines used in natural health product manufacturing.
  • Adjust equipment settings according to formulation standards and company operating procedures.
  • Monitor production conditions and adjust machinery based on recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Respond to alarms or equipment malfunctions and operate emergency shut-off procedures when required.
  • Observe finished products to verify size, shape, and overall quality standards.
  • Record production data accurately and maintain required documentation.
  • Assist Quality team with testing activities such as moisture testing when required.
  • Manage curing room inventory and complete regular inventory counts.
  • Support product movement in and out of curing rooms, following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
  • Pre-stage approved product for packaging based on production schedules.
  • Sanitize machinery and materials at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain production workspaces in accordance with company cleanliness standards.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols.
  • Manage programming of drying chambers as required.
  • Assist with general production tasks and operational support as needed.
