About The Position

SRI Healthcare, LLC, a subsidiary of NOVO Health Services, provides sustainable reusable sterile packs and other healthcare linens to hospitals. Its regional processing facilities perform daily processing, assembly, and delivery of reusable products for surgery. The Production Associate position is based at SRI’s Chattanooga, Tennessee healthcare laundry facility.

The Production Associate performs production tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures, including handling clean linen and preparing sterile products for further processing. The role works to established productivity and quality standards, maintains a clean workstation, and may offer improvement recommendations and train fellow associates after mastering assigned tasks. SRI describes its work environment as safe and positive, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented.
• Able to learn quickly.
• Able to perform repetitive physical motion at a workstation for a minimum of two hours at a time.
• Willing and capable of working on different assignments within the facility or designated area.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.
• Inspect clean linen to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Pouch and label sterile product using a heat sealing machine.
• Send finished packs to the Sterilizer Operator for further processing.
• Work within established productivity and quality standards.
• Recommend methods of improvement to facility management.
• Mentor and train fellow associates after mastering tasks.
• Keep the workstation neat and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
