About The Position

The Production Associate fabricates and produces component parts used in the final assembly of windows. The role involves repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Work may be performed in a variety of departments and may include handling materials and finished products. The posted weekend schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Training takes place Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and may last approximately six weeks.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist.

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing.
Experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
Support window operations by delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
Perform workstation functions using hand tools, power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
Understand and carry out verbal instructions and read and carry out simple written instructions.
Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
Use a tape measure, inspect and examine products, and observe for defects.
Make fraction and decimal conversions.
Operate equipment needed to perform assigned work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
