Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • May be required to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for safely loading, unloading and moving materials in the plant.
  • Alert Setup Technician and Changeover Technician using the light system to keep them informed of production status
  • Keep the work area clean and clutter free: pick up scrap material around the production lines and cut scrap off cores.
  • Perform quality control checks on product and ensure all are properly labeled before stacking finished product.
  • Packages bags/rolls and keeps accurate counts in computer system
  • Helps the team give 10 and 20 minute breaks
  • Alerts Setup Techs to questions or concerns by utilizing white stack light
  • Assembles boxes
  • Performs quality control checks on product and labels
  • Stacks finished product
  • Help pick up scrap around his/her lines, including change-over rolls.
  • Throws away all labels from previous job
  • Keeps work area clean and clutter free; including tables, scales and floors
  • Weighs boxes and enters into the computer system
  • Pulls resin as needed
  • Weighs, packages and labels finished product
  • Might be used for training new person.
  • Other duties as assigned
