Requirements

• Skilled in knife handling, food cutting and preparation following safety standards.
• Previous experience working in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment. The warehouse is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius.
• Able to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts.
• Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs (13 kgs).

Responsibilities

• Working your shift in an area where the temperature is maintained between 6-8 degrees Celsius.
• Processing of single various ingredients, for a meal plan, into single portion size packaging.
• Cleaning, cutting, portioning, measuring, weighing and packaging a variety of vegetables, cheeses, sauces and other various ingredients, into their appropriate packaging, based on a timed standard.
• Breaking down fresh produce using food processing equipment or other provided tools.
• Working in a safe manner and assisting in maintaining a clean, healthy, food-safe production facility.
