About The Position

This is a 2nd shift Production Associate/Machine Operator position. The role involves operating molding presses and other machinery, visually inspecting parts for defects, reporting scrap, preparing products for packaging, and packing parts for shipment. The position also requires documenting job hours and ISO documentation, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to company policies and safety procedures. The role is temporary and not accessible by public transportation.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions included in the visual instructions screen and work order, or given by the supervisor or setup technician
Ability to visually inspect parts for defects
Ability to accurately report scrap
Ability to trim gates, flash and otherwise prepare product for packaging
Ability to pack parts for shipment according to instruction
Ability to instruct reliever on product requirements / molding requirements for each run
Ability to keep work area clean and organized
Ability to document job hours, ISO documentation, etc.
Ability to follow policies outlined in the Employee Handbook
Ability to follow safety policies

Responsibilities

Operate molding presses and other machinery in the production department, following instructions included in the visual instructions screen and work order, or given by the supervisor or setup technician
Visually inspect parts for defects and separate from production run
Accurately report scrap
Trim gates, flash and otherwise prepare product for packaging
Pack parts for shipment according to instruction
Instruct reliever on product requirements / molding requirements for each run
Keep work area clean and organized
Document job hours, ISO documentation, etc.
Follow policies outlined in the Employee Handbook
Follow safety policies
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor
